If yours isn't here, call us. We answer the phone, and if we can't, we call back the same day.
How do I know if I have storm damage?
Most hail and wind damage isn't visible from the ground. Common indicators include granules in your gutters, dented soft‑metal surfaces (gutter aprons, AC fins), dark spots on shingles, and missing or lifted shingles. The only way to know for sure is an on‑roof inspection — which is what we do for free.
Will my insurance cover the work?
If your roof has wind or hail damage that occurred during a covered storm event within your carrier's filing window, your homeowner's policy typically covers the repair or replacement after your deductible. We don't make coverage decisions — your insurance company does — but we make sure the scope reflects the actual damage so you aren't left short.
How long do I have to file a claim?
In Indiana, most homeowner's policies allow up to one year from the date of loss to file a claim, though some carriers have shorter windows. The longer you wait, the harder it gets to prove the damage was storm‑related. If you suspect damage, get an inspection now, not later.
What does the inspection cost?
Nothing. The inspection is free, the photo report is free, and there is no obligation to move forward with us afterward. If we don't find storm damage, we'll tell you that straight.
How long does a roof replacement take?
For a typical Indianapolis‑area home, a full asphalt shingle replacement takes one day. Larger or more complex roofs may take two. Siding and gutter projects vary by scope. We give you a specific install date in writing before we start.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Clockwork Roofing is registered in Indiana and carries general liability and workers' compensation insurance on every job. We're happy to send a current certificate of insurance before we set foot on your property.
